Serving Multiple Dwelling Units with FTTH

Given many people live in various types Multiple Dwelling Units - apartments, condos and townhomes - it is very important to deliver IP-based Triple Play services via FTTH to these MDUs. However, MDUs often present IP Services signal distribution challenges due to the inability to use existing wiring or add new wiring.

ReadyLinks provides several MDU solutions using both fiber and coax. The first way is to do Fiber to the Unit with ReadyLinks OSG (Optical Services Gateways) as seen in the following diagram:

Existing coax wiring in an MDU building can be used with ReadyLinks IPcoax 1400 and/or IPcoax 2400s that utilize Gigabit Ethernet inputs and 100Mbps HPNA 3 based outputs:
